NUKI was created from a desire to bring more positivity, creativity and conscious living into everyday life.
More than a fashion brand, NUKI is a way of living. It is about appreciating the small moments, staying curious, expressing yourself freely and enjoying life to the fullest.
At the center of the brand is the iconic NUKI character, inspired by founder and artist CK Chiu’s childhood husky puppy. One hot summer day, while NUKI was peacefully lying on her back sunbathing in the warmth, CK sketched a playful cartoon version of her. That simple drawing would later grow into the heart and symbol of the brand.

Before fashion, NUKI first began as a series of children’s books created by CK Chiu in 2012. The stories carried positive messages about being happy with who you are, being thankful, following your dreams and treating others with kindness.
Over time, these ideas naturally evolved into a broader creative universe expressed through fashion, illustration and visual storytelling.

Having lived in cities including Amsterdam, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore and now London, CK Chiu developed a creative perspective shaped by different cultures, people and experiences.
During the global pandemic in Shanghai in 2020, NUKI evolved further into a conscious streetwear and lifestyle brand focused on positivity, self expression and meaningful living.
Today, NUKI continues to grow as a creative universe where art, fashion and positivity come together. Through clothing, artworks and storytelling, the brand hopes to inspire people to live more consciously, embrace creativity and enjoy life to the fullest.
